Art Tattoo Montréal 2026; The 22nd edition of one of Canada's premiere tattoo conventions!

Originally getting its start in 2003, Art Tattoo Montréal has since become a staple event not only for tattoo culture in Canada, but globally as well! This premiere tattoo event is heading into its 22nd year of annual celebration, showcasing some of the best tattooers and incredible art/entertainment for all to enjoy from August 28th-30th, 2026! The convention is held at the beautiful Grand Quay of the Port of Montréal, one of the Cities most desirable event spaces and a fitting vessel for this legendary tattoo staple.

Every year, Art Tattoo Montréal hosts Canadian and International tattooers alike in no short supply of incredible artistry. This year, some of the international talent includes tattooers such as Sylvain Liengme (@sylvaintattoo) from Switzerland, Rinzin (@rinzinart) from South Korea, Sophia S (@stickandchoke) from Germany, Junior Goussain (@juniorgoussain) from Brazil, and many more!

One of the more unique aspects of the show this year is the Poster Project! Attending artists of the convention are tasked on creating a unique poster design using the Art Tattoo Montréal format to do so. Many great entries were submitted this year for a great way to showcase the artistry of these attending artists and bring the community together with a shared creative project! This powerhouse team never fails to deliver on putting on one of the best tattoo showcases there is to offer year after year!

Apart from the hundres of talented artists tattooing at this event, there will also be a handful of select vendors each with their own niche to appeal to all walks of life! Of course, another anticipated aspect of the Art Tattoo Montréal show returning this year is the competition! Tattoo artists can compete their tattoos of the show and healed pieces to enter and win at this prestigious showcase! Artists from all over get a chance to put their proudest works on display to be judged only by exclusive panel of judges within the inner workings of the tattoo community to decide which is the best of the best!
Some of the new catergories for the 22nd edition of the Art Tattoo Montréal show include "Ceterpiece" which includes best arm/leg sleeve and best full suit! Completely healed and ready to present. The special catergory of this year is also "Mythical Creatures"! For this catergory, all types of styles will be accepted so long as the subject in mind represents a creature from mythology, folklore, stroies, or just one's own imagination! The possibilites are limitless and give a unique oppurtunity for anybody regardless of style to show off their work!
